Human Trafficking Program Exclusively for the Philanthropic Community
The 2013 Trafficking In Persons Report repeatedly asserts the need for funding for victims services within the United States. Yet, there are little-to-no federal or state appropriations to serve domestic victims of human trafficking, and very few private funders who are versed in this issue. To change the landscape, The Samaritan Women is hosting two identical Educational Breakfasts in Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC. And YOU are cordially invited to this exclusive educational program specifically designed for the philanthropic community. This fast-paced, content-rich program focuses on what funders need to know about the issue of Human Trafficking and the needs of local and regional agencies.  We’re presenting a rare opportunity to meet the people on the front lines of human trafficking awareness, prevention, advocacy, and victim services in the DMV region.
