The agenda we have at this time is as follows:
11 am – Gather at Freedom Plaza
12:00 – 1:00 pm – Rally
1:00 pm – 3:00 pm – March
3:00 pm – 5:00 pm – Textathon
Everyone is required to wear a mask, practice social distancing, and to not have come to DC from states that are on the self-quarantine list. March organizers will have hand sanitizer stations throughout the march site.
Through their link on ActBlue March organizers are asking for small donations to help cover the cost of additional masks for those who might need one, and for purchasing hand sanitizer. Please help if you can.
Maryland NOW will notify members by email on Friday with information as to the location at Freedom Plaza where we will gather.* Marylanders will want to plan to park at either the Shady Grove Metro or the Silver Spring Metro and take the train to the Metro Center station, taking the 13th Street exit. Walk two blocks to 13th Street/Pennsylvania Avenue to Freedom Plaza.
