March on for Voting Rights

For the latest info we are posting what we’ve received from the March on Washington For Voting Rights organizers. What’s included below also includes a map w/ march route information. We hope you can join us!

Saturday August 28th 2021
Protecting voting rights across the country is one of NOW’s biggest concerns as we head into the 2022 Mid-Term Elections. All our issues are at stake! Join us and add your support!
Please look for Maryland NOW at the corner of 15th and K Streets, NW., McPherson Square Park, Washington DC. The March is scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m. You can use either the McPherson Square Metro Stop or the Farragut West Metro Stop to find us. The early start time is to help avoid heat and the possibility of rain later in the day!  The March will end with a Rally on the National Mall.

The reverse side of the sign carries our logo and URL information!

The following is from the most recent communication we have from the DC March organizers and should give you updated information on questions you might have. While we hope to see lots of Maryland NOW members at this important action, we realize that not everyone can come. Please note the last item on this list with information about where you can see livestream of the event in case you’re not able to join us!
