The Yellow Roses offers non-partisan, family-friendly ways to get kids and adults involved in standing up for their rights. They will have sign making, bubbles, balloons, parachutes, and chalk available for people to use. They will also be collecting signatures to urge Congress to recognize the Equal Rights Amendment as part of the US Constitution – learn more about the ERA at this event! January 31: Montgomery County Commission for Women: Women’s Legislative Briefing (Shady Grove, MD). The 2026 theme is Stronger Together: Leading with Vision, Voices, and Values. The Women’s Legislative Briefing (WLB) is the premier and longest-standing women’s legislative event in the state of Maryland.
