November 7: The Yellow Roses: First Fridays for the First Amendment (Olney, MD). The Yellow Roses are organizing First Fridays for the First Amendment rallies on the first Friday of every month. The Yellow Roses offers non-partisan, family-friendly ways to get kids and adults involved in standing up for their rights. They will have sign making, bubbles, balloons, parachutes, and chalk available for people to use. They will also be collecting signatures to urge Congress to recognize the Equal Rights Amendment as part of the US Constitution – learn more about the ERA at this event! Olney Swim Center, Georgia Ave., Olney, 4 – 5:30 pm.
