The 2025 National Young Feminist Leadership Conference brings together student activists to build collective power and share strategies of resistance, grow knowledge about critical domestic and global feminist issues, learn hands-on grassroots organizing tactics, and mobilize for political gain. Being at a conference with hundreds of other young activists is an indescribable feeling. It’s the recognition that we are a part of something big, a community of dedicated students working for justice across the country and the world. March 30 Youth Event: The Yellow Roses (Derwood, MD). Farmworker Awareness Week March 24- March 31st. To honor Dolores Huerta, we are collecting used long-sleeved shirts to help protect farmworkers from sun and pesticides. Huerta led the fight for better pay, working conditions, and safety for farmworkers. She is still fighting for these rights…at 100 years old! The donations will be given to the American Farmworker Opportunity Programs (based in DC). You can schedule a shirt collection pick up or you can drop off on March 30th and March 31st at Derwood,15700 Needwood Lake Cir, Derwood, MD.
