December 13: ERA Coalition March – “It’s Been 100 Years: Not One More,” Lafayette Park, Washington, DC. March to mark the centennial of the introduction of the Equal Rights Amendment to the US Congress.
Maryland NOW, Maryland Equal Rights Action Network (MERAN), and ERA Coalition partners will march to mark the centennial of the introduction of the Equal Rights Amendment in the US Congress and to remind everyone of our unfinished work to put sex equality in the U.S. Constitution.
Meet at 11:15 AM at the General Lafayette Statue in the southeast corner of Lafayette Park (corner of Pennsylvania Avenue NW and Madison Place NW). March begins at noon and will proceed from the White House to the US Capitol with short stops at the Department of Justice and the National Archives and Records Administration office (home of the US Archivist).
