Task Forces and Committees are formed to work on NOW issues and to help manage administrative tasks for Maryland NOW. Anyone can participate in task force or committtee work, the only requirement being that they be a member of Maryland NOW.

Maryland NOW has received requests to help start or “re-convene” chapters in many areas of our state where we have either had chapters in the past or are looking to reorganize an area so a new chapter can function more effectively.
Current events, including the reversal of Roe v. Wade, along with the the 2024 General Election Cycle, have motivated members and interested activists to consider getting more involved. If you would lilke to become more involved in local work, or in projects at the state level, please contact us.
